Awesome Fish Spotlight is a new mini series which will feature beautiful fish that have been well maintained and groomed by their loving aquarist owners. Today’s random fish highlight features a splendid male Pseudanthias bimaculatus by Singaporean reefer Randy. Commonly found in the trade and hailing from the Indo-West Pacific, these medium sized fish are not as popular as their smaller cousins, but pack some serious potential for a stunning aquarium specimen.
Although easily found in the trade, this larger anthias is often ignored by reefers who go for smaller and sleeker anthiinae species for their reef aquariums. Randy managed to bring out the beauty of this fish as seen in these pictures, showing the beautiful pink squiggles that glow on its rose colored body.
