Although it is the reef that really grabs our attention, we have an affinity for all things stunning when it comes to our aquatic pets. These stunning and surreal images of Betta Splendens, or Siamese fighting fish, are definitely worth taking a look at. Seemingly captured in midair (or mid-swim), photographer Visarute Angkatavanich exquisitely captured exactly why these fish are so enthralling. The long flowing fins and brilliant colors of the betta fish are almost dreamlike in Angkatavanich’s imagery. We would love these done with saltwater fish.
