For just 17,800¥ (~$174) you can get the entire miniature jellyfish aquarium or for 7,000¥ more, a total of 24,800¥ (~$242) you get the aquarium, air pump, LED light, salt, hydrometer and bacterial inoculation. While Cubic and others have been making and offering beautiful jellyfish aquariums for years now, the Jellyfish Seascapes PICO is the first kit to truly condense the entire package into a very affordable, complete package.
The Jellyfish Seascapes PICO is so small and inexpensive this is easily one of the most striking desktop jellyfish aquariums ever offered. There’s still that little hurdle of procuring live jellyfish, only a handful of which are small enough to live and grow in this small aquarium, but this is the breakthrough aquarium to put the soft bodied coral relatives into the mainstream of the aquarium world, and that curved aquarium wall is just too cool.
