All In One Biopellets is a new formulation of the popular nutrient export method that is being introduced by none other than the originators of biopellet usage in marine aquariums. DVH Imports who introduced the original N-P Reducing biopellets has been hard at work making solid carbon dosing even more suitable for aquarium use and after a few years of research and experimentation, DVH believes that an “All In One” Biopellet is the most effective way of using this potent biomedia.
The patent-pending All-In-One Biopellets from DVH Imports have been fine tuned to remove as much as five times more nitrate and ten to twenty times more phosphate than previous biopellet formulas. Additionally DVH has taken care to produce the new All In One Biopellets from highly refined materials that are thoroughly purified for maximum suitability when used in aquariums.
Compared to the gentle tumble reccommended for contemporary biopellets, the new All In One Biopellets work best in very high flow applications with as much as three to four times tank turnover per hour in the biopellet reactor chamber. For example the well-stocked 700 liter (185 gallon) reef tank above uses 2 liters of All In One Biopellets that receive 2000 to 3000 liters per hour (450 to 650 gph).
Aquarium Specialty is the U.S distributor for the new All In One Biopellets with the first stock becoming available this week. Pricing for DVH Import’s new solid carbon dosing media is slightly higher than existing biopellet options but if they really do remove more and work more efficiently, we could see another surge in the use of biopellets with this new All In One formula.
