The Vertex RX-C is a brand new calcium design from Vertex Aquaristik which throws in everything but the kitchen sink. The RX-C has just about every single bell and whistle you could ever want from a calcium reactor not the least of which is dedicated CO2 reaction chamber and a heart made from a Sicce pump.
Thej Vertex RX-C includes an integrated bubble counter, lid venting of gas build up, resin-glued Johnny Guest fittings at every turn, a solid white pH probe port, a secondary reaction chamber with two levels of media and our favorite accessory is a flow meter for precise measurement of the effluent flow rate. While it looks fancy and expensive, we were shocked to learn that the Vertex RX-C will actually only cost about $400 when it comes to market later this summer.
