The Mile High MACNA in Denver this year is shaping up to be very rich on content as evidenced by a prodigious list of speaker presentations. MACNA has just released the final lineup of speakers which not only will include top academics in the fields related to marine sciences, but will also include a whole lot of presentations from international speakers.
Furthermore, now that the schedule of speakers and events is available, you can start planning the big MACNA weekend around which speakers you’d like to see and learn about them before the big show. Now that MACNA has rounded up the speaker talks, the committee is in high gear rounding out a suite of workshop presentations which will also be added to the schedule and announced in a future update. Announcing the full speaker lineup and release of the MACNA schedule
July 10, 2014
The MACNA 2014 committee is proud to announce the full speaker lineup and the release of the MACNA schedule. We’ve scoured the reefing world high and low for the most exciting marine aquarium authors to bring to you the most engaging MACNA presentations you will ever see.
No fewer than 25 of the world’s best and brightest aquarists, from diehard enthusiasts to passionate professionals, will be your guides to a whole new level of marine aquarium learning. We’ve already told you about our fantastic selection for the Keynote presentation, Luiz Rocha, and the always-entertaining Mitch Carl as Master of Ceremonies. We’re really thrilled to have a strong representations from the sciences with Dr. Todd LaJeuness, Charles Mazel, and Jamie Craggs making an academic showing. But this year we really want to push the envelope and with industry support, we’re going to be able to reach even further.
The 2014 Mile High MACNA in Denver Colorado will feature six international speakers from England, Germany, France, Mauritius, Bali and Singapore. Leading marine aquarium companies have stepped up to the call and we want to thank Sea Dwelling Creatures, Fluval Sea, Triton and the Horniman Museum for their support in making Denver’s MACNA the most international marine aquarium event to date.
The full lineup of MACNA’s 25 distinguished speakers are now all online with full speaker profiles. Additionally the schedule of speaker talks and other events are also now online and stay tuned for more details on the unique workshops we’ll be holding in addition to the main speaking events.
You are encouraged to help get the word out about our selection for the academic presentations but please refrain from publishing your stories until Friday July 11th, 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. We are very excited to have these such a rich lineup of speakers offering their diverse presentations at this year’s MACNA and we look forward to seeing you there.
