The Marine Aquarium Conference of North America is such a seminal event in the marine aquarium community, it’s a gem to be able to gather once a year with friends and colleagues from all over the world. One of the best parts of attending a MACNA is seeing all the different presentations and the information that is shared.
But since not everyone can attend, and not everyone who attends can watch all the speaker talks, this year the Denver MACNA worked hard with Bulk Reef Supply to make ensure that these presentations are spread much further than a single city and last much longer than a single weekend. As much technology as we have at our fingertips and as connected as we’ve become, it’s a pity that we don’t have ANY record of the speaker presentations that were given at MACNA for over a decade.
For 2014 the Denver MACNA committee and Bulk Reef Supply arranged to put an end to this wonton waste of incredible marine and reef aquarium information and hopefully setting a precedent that will be continued at future MACNAs. With more than 20 top notch speakers representing the best marine academics and international speakers presenting on a range of topics, the Denver MACNA was a great year to begin documenting the enormous amount of high quality information that was presented to MACNA attendees.
