With MACNA several months in the rear view mirror, it’s now time to set our sights on the next marine aquarium event to grace the Denver and central Colorado area. Coming up in its eighth year, ReefStock 2015 will take place February 21st & 22nd at a brand new venue which will allow us to grow, while still keeping the same intimate feel of previous ReefStocks, as well as accommodating more out of town guests.
The Radisson Denver Southeast hotel will be our venue for both the ReefStock event and its lodging for 2015. We must admit that the Denver Downtown Aquarium will always hold a special place in the history of Denver reef aquarium events. However with a meeting space more than twice the size of the Nautilus Ballroom, the new location will allow us to grow ReefStock beyond the maximum occupancy of 210 people that we always blew past in previous years.
Over the past seven years ReefStock has welcomed the tip speakers from all over the country, and with MACNA we’ve just doubled up on all of them, so we’re still working on who will be speaking in 2015 but we can assure you they will all be new and fresh presentations. As usual the top coral vendors in the country will be vending the best frags and corals, and only the best marine aquarium companies have been invited to come and show off the newest reef aquarium products, many of them for the first time ever.
We’ll have plenty more updates about ReefStock 2015 in the next few months leading up to the show. The one detail we’d really like to drive home is that ReefStock is being allowed to grow into the future, following on the successes of MACNA 2015, and a long run of having one of the best darned regional marine aquarium conferences in the country.
Marine aquarium companies interested in exhibiting at ReefStock 2015 should contact Ryan Gripp to secure a booth. Interested attendees should RSVP to the 2015 ReefStock Facebook event page for up to the minute updates about speakers, raffle prizes and details. Following up to MACNA 2014 makes for some big shoes to fill but since we are part of the group that produced MACNA this year, we are committed to making the next ReefStock bigger and more fun than ever.
