The Maxspect Gyre has made quite a commotion in the water moving department recently and for those of you wanting to get your gyre on but want something smaller, check out the upcoming Maxspect Gyre XF130.
The original Maxspect Gyre XF150 was just a hair under 12 in. in length and pushed 5,000 GPH at 50W of consumption. The Gyre XF130 shaves off about two inches and pushes 2,300 GPH at 35W and is suitable for tanks up to 100 gallons.
CoralVue, the US distributor for Maxspect just announced it has received a production sample meaning the little brother Gyre is most likely going to be shipping pretty soon. If you are looking to grab one of these, it will set you back $239.99.
