We came across this stunning film of free diver Guillaume Néry flying through the ocean as he is carried along by the strong currents near Tahiti. The serene and surreal video appears as if he is floating in outer space rather than swimming through the Earth’s oceans.
Shot last year by director and underwater cameraman Julie Gautier, this amazing footage shows Néry cruising through Tiputa pass that is part of the Rangiroa atoll about 220 miles Northeast of Tahiti.
If the name sounds familiar, you might recall Néry’s underwater base jump of Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas.
