We’ve all been staring at our aquariums glass walls, surfaces, and bottoms for probably more time than any of us would care to admit. Most of the time is spent looking at what is inside the aquarium, but one creative artist named Kamiel Rongen found a truly “out of the box” approach to looking at water surfaces inside an aquarium.
This video shows the kind of art that can be created by playing with viscosity, surface tension and buoyancy of different liquids and filming it upside down to great effect. We have no idea what substances are used in this video, but somewhere in this clip is a really funny reverse-protein skimming joke just waiting to be told.
