The Summer membership drive for the Marine Aquarium Societies of North America (MASNA) continues through the end of August. New and renewing members will be entered into a drawing for an AquaFX Glacial 100 RODI system. In addition to supporting MASNA and its activities, $5 from each membership or renewal will be donated to Gary Meadows Reef. If you are planning on attending MACNA in Washington, D.C. in September, current, renewing and new members can stop by the MASNA booth and pickup a free raffle ticket for a Red Sea Reefer 170!
In addition to the Red Sea Reefer 170, which was donated by Red Sea for the MASNA Summer membership drive, the lucky winner will also get to take home several reef related itms to complete the system. To light your Red Sea Reefer, Kessil has donated a 360w LED. To keep those acros happy, Tunze has provided a controllable 6040 pump. And of course, a skimmer would come in handy for your new setup, thanks to eShopps for an S-120 skimmer as well.
Not currently a MASNA member? This is a great time to sign up. MASNA members get early access to MACNA on Friday morning, as well as an opportunity to participate in MASNA programs such as Aquarist of the Year, MASNA Speaks, MASNA Live and the ability to serve on committees. So how do you get your raffle ticket you ask? Just drop by the MASNA table at MACNA, located just outside the main entrance. MASNA members at the individual or family level will be given a single raffle ticket as a thank you for supporting MASNA.
Not a MASNA member yet? Now is a great time to sign up! The drawing for the Red Sea system and associated prizes will be held at MACNA on Sunday, you must be present to claim your prize. Not attending MACNA this year? You can still win an AquaFX Glacial 100 RODI system. You simply need to join or renew during the month of August.
A special thank you to Red Sea, as well as Kessil, Tunze and eShopps for supporting the MASNA Summer Membership drive. Individual MASNA memberships are only $20 per year or $35 for a family. Join us!
