The China International Pet Show is well underway and already we have the first new notable aquarium product to come to our attention. The Zetlight Carona is a flying saucer shaped LED fixture with a look that is out of this world.
With a convex shape to both the top and bottom of the fixture, the Corona by Zetlight is a striking LED aquarium light from every angle, and it hides some neat functionality under the UFO-shaped hood. The Multichip LED powered Carona has multiple levels of power and color control which can be accessed via a wifi app, or you can cycle through some presets by simply pressing your finger to the touch-sensitive housing.
The Carona LED is being displayed by Zetlight at the China International Pet Show with an intriguing multi-axis mounting bracket which appears to offer multiple degrees of angling freedom. It is unclear whether the Carona will also be offered in a hanging orientation because that would make for one heckuva LED lighting presentation.
Zetlight isn’t sure how much power they’ll specify for the Carona LED, but at least the paint job is secure with this striking light being offered in both a stark matte black, and the diametric opposite of a highly polished chrome. Pricing for the new Carona LED is also up in the air but Zetlight states that their new aquarium light will be coming in for a landing sometime early next year.
