The Syncra Advanced is the next generation of centrifugal water pumps from Sicce, one of the long time leaders in water pump technology. Not to be confused with the new controllable Sicce Syncra SDC water pumps, the Syncra Advanced is quite possible one of the best AC water pumps ever made for the aquarium hobby.
The new Syncra Advanced pumps are smaller, quieter, more efficient and more reliable than even the previous generation of Sicce Syncra pumps. With increased efficiency gains Sicce was able to make the Syncra Advanced significantly smaller than before, while still cranking out very respectable flow rates.
Sicce put in better noise cancelling feet in the base of the Sycnra to absorb vibrations, and the volute has the same new swiveling design as the Syncra SDC. The same mechanism which is used to adjust the Syncra Advanced also allows the volute to be removed for servicing making it easier than ever to open and service the water pump.
The Syncra Advanced is expected to be priced nearly the same as the current Syncra pumps it is replacing and we expect this pump will become the new favorite for a wide range of aquarium uses, and its efficiency and silence may even rival the best DC pumps on the market today.
