Arcadia LED T5 retrofit tubes are a new product recently launched that allows you to swap your old standard T5 bulbs with an LED lamp giving you flexibility in your lighting without having to invest in an entirely new fixture.
There are four flavors of Arcadia LED T5 tubes a Marine White (18,000K), a Marine Blue actinic, a Freshwater Pro (8,000K) and a Tropical Red. All four models come in three different sizes to replace your standard 24 in., 36 in. and 48 in.tubes — but at less power. For example, the 48 in. version sips only 18W, 36W less than an T5. Now consider an 8-bulb fixture and you can be saving nearly 300W of power.
The Arcadia T5 LEDs are compatible with electronic ballasts and will work in most T5 setups. You can even intermix the LEDs with T5s to get a unique blend of lighting with the addition of the shimmering we’ve love from the non-fluorescent style of lighting that you give up with T5s.
The largest tubes will retail around £49.99 (around $72 USD) and you won’t have to replace them every 12-24 months.
