Aquariums and scuba diving tabbed as two of the most expensive hobbies! Well, not today my friends. This weekend, you can try scuba diving for FREE in the Go Dive Now pool on wheels, outside the Denver Aquarium. July 30 & 31 from 10am-5pm.
Go Dive Now is a fun and safe way to try SCUBA diving, and anyone ages 10 and up can participate. All you need to do is show up with a swimsuit and Go Dive Now will provide the rest. You’ll be breathing underwater right away in a safe environment with the help of trained diving professionals.
Go Dive Now is will also be at the Houston Aquarium August 6 & 7.
After your dive, don’t miss out on the dreamy coral reef scape inside the Aquarium or a free Denver area Local Fish Store tour. The dreamy 5,000-gallon reef tank at the Denver Aquarium has lush stands of aquarium stony corals and a mesmerizing collection of saltwater fish.
The tank was first set up in 1998 and has always been a shining beacon of excellent coral growth and righteous reef display. For the past ten years or so this has been a powerhouse garden of coral and a must see at the Aquarium. If lush reef tanks aren’t your thing ;), the aquarium also has unique cold water displays, freshwater fish, mermaids and more.
If want to make a day of it, you could also visit some of the local fish stores in Denver. Check out our post LFS Instagram Blitz and start planning your tour! The super old hammer coral at Neptune Tropical Fish and the sprawling coral selections at Aquatic Art are some of our favorite stops. No matter your aquarium preference, fish stores in the Denver-area are full of great aquariums and displays.
So what are you waiting for! Go Dive Now is a fun way to get out and try scuba diving for the first time. Imagine breathing underwater, seeing the world like a fish and then visiting some of Denver’s incredible aquarium displays.
