Dive N Dry is a novel scuba accessory which takes the sprawl out of caring for your dive gear. This patented stand folds out from a compact size and is custom designed to fit all your dive gear for easy drying.
The Dive N Dry stand was developed by divers for divers and includes convenient hooks, clips and arms for each piece of equipment. The stand is made from aluminum keeping it light and the plastic is a tough nylon composite that holds up to the elements.
Saltwater and sunshine are tough on your dive gear. The best way to keep your equipment in good shape is to rinse it thoroughly with freshwater after each dive. Cleaning you dive equipment after every dive will extend the life of your gear.
Tips for cleaning your dive gear
Grab either a hose or find yourself a freshwater washing basin after a dive and get washing!
First of all, you should rinse your BCD inside and out. Open the deflate valve and let a little freshwater inside the BCD air pocket, swish it around inside the BCD and then drain the water either from the low-pressure inflator hose or from one of your dump valves.
Give your wetsuit a thorough rinse. Also if available use a dunk tank with some wetsuit shampoo first followed by a freshwater rinse for an extra clean suit. Rinse any other wetsuit accessories you have this way, hoods, boots, gloves, etc.
Most importantly you want to rinse off you regulator. Pay close attention when cleaning you reg that you don’t get water into the first stage (the part which attaches to the tank). Always make sure the plastic dust cap is in place covering the first stage filter before you rinse inside the regulator second stage, octopus, hoses, and gauges.
Dive N Dry makes it simple to hang your gear in one convenient place after you’ve rinsed off the salt. Once your gear is dry fold it up, including the stand, and pack it together for your next adventure.
