Last weekend we wrapped up the last major reef aquarium event of the year at ReefAPalooza in southern California. These reefing events are fun for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest draws by far is how many gorgeous corals are offered for sale in one place.
Even if you’re not in the market for such and such coral, it’s still a real treat to see just how nice corals can look. No matter what you’re into, the big reef aquarium events are a veritable smorgasbord of coral diversity.
MACNA, ReefStock and ReefAPalooza particularly have proven themselves time and again to be a buffet of the best corals. From the most expensive specks of high dollar Montipora frags, to the very good deals on large colonies of lords, zoanthids and even nice cultured green cabbage leather, there’s something at these shows for everyone.
