The IceCap REEF-Cam is probably the first underwater video camera dedicated to streaming HD video from inside your aquarium.
The IceCap REEF-Cam will launch this spring and gives you 720p resolution to an iOS or Android mobile device. The REEF-Cam has a wide-angle lens gives you a 120° field of view to capture plenty of in-tank action.
The camera itself is just 1 in. x 1 in. and 3/4 in. thick and can be mounted externally or fully submersed in your tank. The setup is pretty easy too thanks to its on-board Wifi connection. Just download the free iOS or Android app, connect to your network (WiFi or Ethernet) to begin streaming away.
You can add a MicroSD card to be able to capture and store video. There are also add-on options for a blue or black protective silicon sleeve or if you want it to look natural, there is a camera case that looks like a live rock.
The camera will debut this spring for an MSRP of $199.
