The Reef Builders Studio is coming along nicely and although it’s a lot of work getting everything started, it’s also a lot of fun. In the previous Vlogs we shared the setup of our first token nano reef tank in the space just so we wouldn’t have to wait so long to get a few corals in the work space.
In these two videos we make great progress setting up the first large coral flat and receive the very first fish of the studio. It was surprisingly challenging to level the six legs of this very flexible stand but well worth the effort. We’re closing in on getting that coral flat finished and should soon have a nice template of how we want to set up the other two.
The first fish is a gorgeous aberrant diadema dottyback that we received pre-quarantined from TSM Corals. It’s an absolutely sensational specimen, big, bold, colorful and very comfortable in its new digs. We’re getting really close to having some serious capacity to start gathering corals at the Studio so be sure and subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven’t already so you can follow along with all the exciting developments.
