It’s been a long time coming but we’ve finally got the Mode Aquariums Retail Rack System up and running at the Studio. With so many tanks, aquariums and systems planned for this space, it’s very important to build everyone of them right, from the beginning.
The Retail Rack from Mode is going to be our main saltwater fish ‘apartment’ as they arrive at the Studio and get conditioned and quarantined for a healthy long life in future displays. While they await their forever homes throughout the studio we want the fish to have as easy a time acclimating to aquarium life but not while demanding too much attention or especially maintenance to keep them thriving.
To accomplish this we very carefully considered the choice of protein skimmer, automatic filter roll, heater, return pump, even down to how the water is delivered to each cubicle. The end result of our ‘customized’ Reef Builders edition of the Mode Aquariums Retail Rack is a very efficient, clean, clear and especially quiet fish system which looks great and will hopefully be home to a many great fish in the future.
