Touted as a continuous dosing pump, the R Doser Milestone 6 has two modes of dosing available depending on the pump head used. In typical mode the Milestone 6 can dispense up to 6 liters of fluid per hour, adjustable using the built-in dial and quite ideal for use with any kind of calcium of denitrating reactor.
In precision ‘microdose’ mode a different pump head offers even finer, granular precision of nearly drop wise dosage up to 15ml per hour which is ideal for minor traces, and especially liquid foods. Long term users of the Aqua Trend line of devices will also appreciate the interoperability with the R Doser Milestone 6 which has a serial port for remote control, programming and advanced functions.
Aqua Trend is promoting the R Milestone Doser 6 as a high performance dosing pump for ‘critical applications’ and it better be for 299€. This is a premium price for a single channel dosing pump which is about as much as you expect to pay for multi-channel dosing pump systems, but there’s no substitute for high dependability dosers like this.
