It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to casually get together with fellow reefers and gab about all things reef aquariums. We’ve been trying to make up for this dearth of communing with our fellow reef builders as much as we can with phone calls and extended online chats but last night we definitely broke the seal with Keith Berkelhamer aka ReefBum.
In the ensuing two hour livestream discussion we covered a huge range of topics including the importance of aquarium pH, the absurdity of the coral name game, supply shortages of some aquarium products, and the challenging logistics of marine livestock that has caused prices to skyrocket across the board. The stream was watched by many of our respected peers in the reef aquarium world who posed some really good questions and overall we posted up 120 minutes of dense, on-topic reef conversation.
Although the Rappin’ with Reefbum livestream is posted up in video format, we realize that no one necessarily wants to watch two middle aged men talking about their hobby for two hours, so it also makes for a great listen while the video plays in a separate tab. We really feel like this livestream with Keith was a pressure release valve for all the conversations we haven’t had over the last year and we are extremely grateful to have been invited to participate.
