We were really taken by surprise at the overwhelming response we’ve received on the new Reef Therapy podcast discussion that we kicked off a few weeks ago. Initially we just wanted to create a format where Mark and I could give some deeper consideration and insight to discuss certain reef topics with a lot more focus than we usually get with social media.
This week we were extremely fortunate with our timing yet again being able to discuss Red Sea’s fresh announcement of their latest Reefer S line of reef aquariums. From the title you might think that we spend over an hour talking just about this tank but really we use the new and legacy features of the Reefer S 850 & 1000 as a jumping off point to discuss all in one tanks in general.
The ensuing discussion resulted in some deep insights into the benefits and drawbacks of eurobraced aquariums, metal framed stands, split or dual chamber sumps that can be found in the new Red Sea Reefer S tanks. As current owners of Red Sea all in one tanks, both Mark and I had some recent personal and hands-on experience and perspective on what Red Sea is doing right, how comparable setups are competing in this space, and what we want to see most in future offerings of this sort.
We’re just buttoning some minor details until Reef Therapy is fully syndicated as a podcast so feel free to subscribe to the Reef Builders youtube channel and we’ll be sure to let you know when you can listen to Reef Therapy on Apple & Spotify.
