Reef Therapy is quickly becoming a runaway hit of reef aquarium content with substantial examinations about many aspects of reef aquariums, through the lens of 50 years of combined reefing experience. When Mark and I started recording our frequent chats about reef aquariums we had no idea the kind of audience that it would reach, or just how much new and veteran reef builders would enjoy it.
We weren’t trying to create a podcast or shake things up, we just wanted to share the kind of critical reef aquarium discourse that we’ve both personally learned a lot from by bouncing ideas off of each other. Talking out our reef aquarium ideas and getting feedback from a reefer we both trust was our therapy, our way of cutting through the internet’s echo chambers and all the noise that dominates social media.
In the course of just 10 ‘sessions’ we’ve taken a deep dive into various aspects of reef keeping, discussing both the mainstream and fringe aspects of the reef aquarium hobby with what we believe are some creative and original insights into lighting, filtration, livestock, technology, techniques, and we’re just getting started. It’s been a few weeks since we shared our most recent installments of therapeutic reefing conversations so in case you missed it, we’ve got sessions covering food and nutrition, the things we love about the hobby, what’s going on in our reef tanks, and most recently we recapped all the news to come out of Reefapalooza Orlando.
Reef Therapy is available on YouTube and all your favorite podcatchers so be sure to get caught up so you can be part of the most in depth reef aquarium discussions anywhere.
