GHL is a company synonymous with automatic dosing using peristaltic pumps with their legendary stand alone doser (unwittingly) becoming the template for the deluge of dosing pump options we have available today. The GHL Doser Maxi was introduced in 2017 built atop many generations of the original GHL Doser to provide fluid transfer of larger volumes and at faster flowrates to really fill the gap for automatic top-off or water changes.
With the Doser 2.2 Maxi GHL is introducing a new, smarter generation of their larger fluid dosing pump that we first learned about summer of 2021 but which is finally going to enjoy an official release. The most important thing to know about the new dual channel dosing pump is that it will come in a stand alone version and an external version.
The Doser 2.2 Maxi SA – which can be used by itself with full controllability and access will cost $419 and is almost a mini controller by itself, while the GHL Doser 2.2 Maxi EXT is an accessory version which shaves off a little bit off the sticker price for $369 since it networks to existing GHL smart products to get online. It’s worth mentioning that the GHL Doser 2.2 Maxi uses custom designed motors and peristaltic pumping mechanisms for maximum performance and longevity as well as ultra quiet stepper motors for precision.
The GHL Doser 2.2 Maxi SA and EXT will be sold directly from the manufacturer with European orders shipping October 21st, American fulfillment will commence on November 7th, but the next batch won’t be made available again until February of 2023. GHL is one of the most prolific manufacturers of dosing pump systems and we have every expectation that the company has very good reason to update their unique Doser 2.2 Maxi with all the modern features and conveniences that have become available since the first version launched five years ago.
