In the podcast, David tells us what it was like reefkeeping in the early 1970s and 80s, when everything was new and experimental, and how aquarists learned the importance of mineral replenishment in reef aquaria even then. We discuss his national television appearance in 1989 when he made some predictions on the reefkeeping methodology which is still cutting edge today, 34 years later. David talks of his own trials, failures, and disasters with his tank like when it leaked, and when it was home to an Octopus he affectionately fed on chicken!
