This week Evie arrived at livestock wholesaler Carolina Aquatics in North Carolina for their annual event and got to spend some time with reefing legend Julian Sprung at the same time.
It’s always interesting to see which corals push people’s buttons – especially Julian’s – and he didn’t disappoint, heading for what many would think of middle-of-the-road LPS corals in terms of their appeal.
Yet for Julian, they ooze intrigue in terms of the length of time they’ve been in the hobby, their close relationship to other popular genera, and the tiny differences in color and pattern that make him want to collect them.
