Recently Remy got to visit Gabe Pommier and his two-year-old coral business Oceanic Gardens in Illinois. Gabe has been a hobbyist for 10 years and at just 24 years old his premises are looking really clean, well organized, and professional, and Remy couldn’t help but come away with corals from his visit.
Like Jake, Gabe still has his old college tank, home to some Black Widow anemones and a carpet of Blue Clove Polyp, but the main attraction has to be his fibreglass coral flats that are full of Torch corals, Hammers, Frogspawns, Button Scolies, Catalaphyllia, Trachyphyllia, Micromussa lordhowensis and a growing collection of Goniopora.
Take it away, Remy…
