We’re excited to announce Dana Riddle to the Reefstock Chattanooga speaker lineup! The title of his talk is “Successful Coral Husbandry. A Compendium of 30 Years of Research,” and we cannot wait.
For seasoned reef aquarists, Dana Riddle needs no introduction. If you’re more recent, here’s some background info from the man himself:
“I’ve been a marine aquarium hobbyist since 1964 and a reef aquarium enthusiast starting in the late 1980s. This passion led to the purchase of laboratory equipment including PAR meters, spectrometers, PAM fluorometers, and so on to solve many of the mysteries surrounding corals in captivity. In 1999, I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii and performed many procedures to improve our understanding of natural and artificial reefs. This resulted in ~300 articles being published in various hobbyist literature. I’ve made over 60 presentations over the years and was awarded MACNA’s ‘Aquarist of the Year’ in 2011. Now living in the suburbs of Atlanta, my efforts to advance the hobby continue.”
