Raj has never really flexed his skill set to the Reef Builders audience before. He co-owns My Reef Creations (MRC), which designs and builds many of the commercial protein skimmers and reactors used by public aquaria, and today, we got a unique insight into his job.
Filmed on location in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Raj takes us on a tour of a private installation his company is working on—a 10,000-gallon (37,854-liter) reef tank inspired by the Long Island Aquarium. He shows us just how much planning and construction go into such a build.
We joined Raj on month 28 of actual construction time, and it still hasn’t had water in it!
