The new Maxi Jet Utilty line of versatile pumps from Aquarium Systems have been tested and reviewed with pretty good marks. I put the pumps under a series of tests and ran them on a few different systems to see how they compared to some more familiar players in the water pumping seascape. Although the pumps are meeting the common standard in efficiency, they are solid and quiet. Two things I like most about them are their small size and the plethora of accessories which are included to help you get the most versatilty out of the product. Furthermore, the pumps are backed by a three year warranty. See this month’s issue of Advanced Aquarist for a full review.
