The Manhattan Reefs Fall Frag Swap is coming up this Sunday, October 10 at the PACE University Student Union in downtown Manhattan giving reefers in the Big Apple the chance to catch some great vendors, great speakers and pick up some new corals. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 pm. ET and features nearly 20 vendors, an auction and raffle, fragging demonstrations, a DIY LED demonstration and a pair of speakers — Todd Gardener from Atlantis Marine World speaking on non-photosynthetic coral care and Colin Foord from Coralmorphologic discussing Zoanthus sp. and care. The event costs $25 and you need to RSVP in advance. With a limited amount of tickets available for the event, Manhattan Reefs strongly suggests getting tickets ASAP since last year they were at capacity and had to turn people away at the door. Visit the Manhattan Reefs’ website to RSVP, schedule and list of vendors.
