We’ve gotten wind of another mutant Zebrasoma, this time it’s not a nearly solid white yellow tang like Casper or Powder but a much larger specimen with really bold white and yellow markings. The piebald yellow tang was acquired by Exotic Aquariums of Sacramento California and it sold the very same day for beaucoup bucks.
Besides originating from Hawaii, there’s not much to say about this piebald yellow tang: it’s large, it’s a yellow tang, and it’s got big patches of bold white coloration that makes this fish worth 20 times the price of a regular Zebrasoma flavescens. We find the bright yellow eye on a white body to be especially eye-catching.
