Ecoxotic has just outed their follow up to the widely used panorama modules, the Panorama Pro LED. The 19 watt Panorama Pro is a nearly a 50% increase in power over the previosu generation of Panorama LED modules, yet the retail price at launch is dropping from $99 to $89. The Panorama Pro is much thinner than the previous generation and it will launch in five colors: two shades of white, an 8000K and a 12,000K, a new deeper 445nm royal blue and a version of the whites spiced up with a little blue and a version of the blue spiked with a little magenta.
The list of upgrades to the Panorama Pro doesn’t end with the power, colors and thickness of the LED strip. The Panorama Pro is now linkable and interchangeable with the new stunner LED colors and new Stunner LED lengths, and they can be daisy chained and split into an infinite amount of ways totalling a combined 60 watts with the new 24v power supply. Perhaps the icing on the Ecoxotic’s cake is the forthcoming reflectors which will allow users of the Panorama Pro LED to further increase the intensity of the passively cooled new striplights.
If the Panorama Pro reflectors are icing on the cake then the cherry on top is the forthcoming remote-controlled RGB Panorama Pro that was first showed off at ReefStock. In addition to all the new color options and higher output of the Panorama Pro LEDs you will also be able to get custom color tuning with the RGB Panorama Pro which will probably cost a little more than the fixed color models.
Between the new stunners and lengths, the variety of Panorama Pro colors and the RGB controlled Panorama Pro, Ecoxotic’s ecosystem of LED striplights is turning out to be one of the most versatile and affordable ways to get your solid state lighting on. For more information see the video and press release below, and the Panorama Pro modules are now on sale on the Ecoxotic website.
