It’s a really good time to be a reefer in Atlanta right now; Jorge’s Pure Reef has been going steady for a while now and this weekend Sea Atlanta is having its grand opening where it will finally be open to the public. Sea Atlanta is not just another new LFS, but it is being directed by Raj Knight of Southeast Aquariums and My Reef Creation and the exotic reef life connoisseur Jeremy Maneyapanda. Now normally when a new aquarium store opens up it takes them months if not years to really hit their stride but with Southeast Aquariums being in business for over ten years and some talented fish people at the wheel, Sea Atlanta should be really rockin the greater Atlanta area reef scene in just a couple of months.
To kick off the opening of the store this weekend, Sea Atlanta is having a huge grand opening sale which will feature lots of sales and prizes including a one year supply of Seachem salt, a 32 inch HDTV, and a whole suite of assorted MRC reactors and products. Additionally, I (Jake Adams) will be on hand to help bag fish and corals, answer questions and also to give a nice talk on LED lights for aquariums. So if you’ve got a marine or reef aquariums and you live in the 404, be sure to come check out Sea Atlanta this weekend, an LFS which we expect will be raising the bar for quality aquarium stores across the country.
