The Spotfix from AquaMedic is an attractive LED spotlight for perching the energy saving lights which are all but taking over the lighting of smaller aquariums. From the moment we first laid eyes on the Yasha nano at InterZoo in Germany two years ago, we were struck by the simple beauty of what is now known as the Spotfix, and if/when these simple spotlight holders would be available on their own. Now we know that AquaMedic is indeed releasing the Spotfix as a standalone product, and it will be great for the few 12v LED spotlights on the market, particularly the 3 and 9 watt AquaSunspot, but not the more widely used PAR30 and PAR38 LED spotlights.
