ATB is doing a good job of pushing the boundaries with its washdown systems as we’ve seen in previous posts on automatic dual washdowns. Now the company is adding the automated washdown to an extra-large concept skimmer that includes automatic cleaning of the collection cup and internal reaction chamber tube. The ATB protype in the image and video below (click through for the video), takes care of both sides of the inner riser tube in the collection cup along with scraping the outer wall to keep the cup clean on this pretty large skimmer. It takes it a step farther with a large squeegee down the main reaction chamber tube to give your skimmate a clean path to the cup.
