The new Current-USA Satellite + LEDs might not break any coral growing records, it probably couldn’t even keep any corals alive, but it at their affordable pricing they just might be a great solution for fish only systems. The Current USA Satellite LEDs are passively cooled, and the LEDs are only ran at around 0.1 watts, but the fixtures are extremely thin at 0.44 mm. A mixture of RGBs and 6500k white LEDs are used, and are variously controllable through a wireless remote controller. Other features like cloud and lightning simulations are also done through the remote controller.
The Current USA Satellite + LED will be in four sizes, 18, 24, 38 and 48 inches, and the fixtures consume 7.5, 10, 15, and 18 watts respectively. The fixtures are priced at $129-$189 (depending on lenght) and can be purchased from your favorite Current USA dealer today.
