There are coral macros and then there are coral extreme closeups! Long known for their fancy photography, Cherry Corals has a track record of producing wild, popping images of some of the hottest corals. The use of flattering photo settings and a little touch up is a given nowadays but the fact remains that when you see Cherry’s corals in person they’re pretty darn poppin’.
A new macro lens enabled Todd & Brett to make these ridiculously close macro photographs of some of today’s hottest Palythoa zoanthids. Heck are these even zoanthus or palythoa? We’re not really sure but we wouldn’t mind placing a couple polyps of each in some of our nano reefs. We’re not the biggest zoanthid nuts but by golly these images are a whole new level of detail. Enjoy the eye candy! [Cherry Corals]
