There’s a new kind of aquarium show happening this weekend in Chicago. The Aquatic Experience is not just for reefers, but for all manner of people with aquatic interests including freshwater, saltwater, planted, reef, pond and probably a little bit of aquatic reptiles too. Reef Builders will be there, covering the event and participating in the presentations being offered by the heavy hitters of the aquarium hobby.
Julian Sprung, Sanjay Joshi, myself (Jake Adams), Rich Ross and many others will be contributing a wealth of information on a variety of topics but for us, the real exotics are the various freshwater speakers that will also be doing their thing. Oliver Knott, Oliver Lucanus, Heiko Bleher and Zeb Hogan will be speaking on a range of topics from exploration and discovery, to monster fish and live aquascaping demonstrations
We will be at the Schaumburg Convention in a Reef Builders and a speaker capacity, as well as manning the MACNA 2014 booth to sign up and inform next year’s attendees to the largest marine aquarium show for all things reef. If you’ve got an aquarium bone in your body at all, and you live in the greater Chicago area you won’t want to miss this amazing concentration of speakers, education and attractions.
The Aquatic Experience Chicago is organized by the World Pet Association and will take place this weekend at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Chicago Illinois, Friday the 15th to Sunday the 17th of November. Prices to attend the event range from $10 for single day access up to $99 for the weekend pass with access to all three days, seminars, keynote banquet and more. See you there!
