The Voyager Nano is the official name of Sicce’s newest aquarium water pump, a tiny propeller device that is sure to make big waves. First trotted as the Sicce Voyager Minu, we’ve already had some hands-on time with the special white prototypes but we like the Voyager Nano moniker a lot better.
Sicce will be making the puny pumps in two sizes, a Voyager Nano 1000 which pushes 1,000 liters of water per hour (264gph) and a Voyager Nano 2000 which is capable of 2,000 lph (528gph). The flow rates of the Voyager Nano pumps are impressive enough on coming from such diminutive little bodies and all the more impressive when you consider that they use only 2.8 and 3 watts respectively.
Sicce includes with the Voyager Nano a magnet mount strong enough for up to 12mm glass, with vibration reducing features while also allowing the body to rotate in 360 degrees. The pricing and release date for the Sicce Voyager Nano should made available very soon and will also likely include details on the also-new Sicce Syncra Nano.
