We recently discovered an awesome Facebook group simply titled “The Shroom Room“. This is an open venue where reef aquarists can share the love for mushroom corals (corallimorphs) through photos and discussion, and there’s a lot of it. As you may recall, we’ve previously shared our love for corallimorphs with the Jawbreaker, Rainbow Rhodactis and even the Predatory Ricordea yuma.
These ‘shroom strains are certainly giving high-end collectors a run for their money, and it’s comforting knowing that they are easier to grow than their hard-coral counterparts. We could go on and on about all of the gnarly morphs, but we’ll let the photos do the talking. Warning: Prepare for a sensory overload of mushroom corals from hobbyists and retailers from all around the world!
