The GHL Doser 2 is easily the most exciting new dosing pump system to be introduced in years. Following our extensive coverage at InterZoo 2014, GHL has finally let loose a few details on pricing and availability on this groundbreaking new product.
The biggest change to the GHL Doser 2 is the wireless control has been switched from bluetooth to Wifi to have a greater degree of interoperability, and more compatibility with all of our electronic devices. Also, the GHL Doser 2 will be extremely accurate in its dosing since it will now be equipped with 24v stepper motors, known for the precision and reliability.
Furthermore, two new ports have been added for increasing functionality of the GHL Doser 2. There will be a port for connecting magnetic stirrers to homogenize dosing mixtures before dosing and another port for connecting an as-of-yet unannounced external GHL Control Pad, a separate device that will have a 4.3″ capacitive touch screen.
Some other new features of the GHL Doser 2 will include Auto Top Off and Auto Water Change settings, and expansion capabilities to control up to 16 pumps as slave dosers. Finally, the GHL Doser 2 will come in a two, three and four pump configuration to be priced in Europe at 285€, 336€ and 386€ respectively. Prices for other markets will be revealed soon and GHL expects the devices to start shipping the last week of september.
