The new Coralife Aqualife LED is taking affordable aquarium LEDs in an intriguing direction allowing you to customize and tweak your lighting with interchangeable 3W LED tri-lamps. We were able to get a sneak peak at this image and expect to see the real deal tomorrow at MACNA. The mini three-diode LEDs, three cord power and direction lunar blue LEDs make for a pretty impressive product that will bring a flexible and affordable light to the market.
There appears to be five color choices in an actinic, a 60/40 blend, 10,000K, Colormax and Tri-Chromatic to cover any freshwater, saltwater or reef system. Plus with three cords, it allows for simple timers and controllers to give you a dawn-to-dusk and moonlight lighting. We will have to wait to get to the Coralife booth to find out the price and availability tomorrow and will pass it along.
