Skimz PurBio is a biodegradable polymer released by the company to help increase the beneficial bacteria that eliminate unwanted nitrate and phosphate in your aquarium. Although nothing revolutionary in this product versus other solid carbon dosing products on the market, Skimz sourced a product they felt performed best in their recently released line of Skimz BioReactors.
The suggested dosing is to you 100ml per 100L of water volume. The company notes, if you have high nitrates (40ppm+), you should start off slowly with a half dose, and expect a short period of water cloudiness.
