Some of popular aquarium products are not sale in the U.S., so I would like to introduce some of the products especially fish food and additives.
The fish food above is Megabite from Hikari. There are three Megabite lineup such as Red, Green and Kaisou (Marine plant). Megabite Red is for carnivore and omnivore fish. Megabite Green is for herbivore. Lastly, Begabite Kaisou70 is for Tang and Surgeon-fish. Red and Green are in the market long time, but Kaisou70 was released a couple of years ago. Some reefers use Kaisou70 for Queen Angelfish to keep the blue coloration.
All three products contain Hikari Probiotic bacteria. It makes fish healthy for intestinal flora.
LiveSea from Delphis is another one for selling good fish food and some high quality additive. DEL Marine food is also very popular marinefish food that contains probiotic bacteria and natural plan ingredient.
Com1 and Com2 are nutrient supplement for fish, coral and other marine living organism. Com1 contains Manganese, Cobalt, Lithium, Iron, Molybdenum, Iodine and others as the similar ratio of natural sea water. Com2 is similar to Com1, but more likely containing AminoAcid.
SURE from Marine tech is another popular fish food in Japan. Marine tech says that SURE contains unique vitamin C that has resistance to heat. As you know, standard Vitamin C does not have good resistance to heat. By using heat resistance Vitamin C, the quality of SURE can maintain long time after you open the package.
The picture above is a shelter for fish made of pottery from SUDO. I bought this product in Japan to give some hiding space for small fish in my tank.
You may not need to buy these products that are available in Japan, but I love to use these products that I may be able to get new benefits that I may not be able to get the products in the U.S. That’s why I buy these products whenever I visit Japan.
