Marine Power is a semi-new line of foods designed for coral and marine fish by Tropical, a company in Poland that makes flake and granulated foods for aquarium and pond fish and reptiles. Although this writer hasn’t come across Tropical before, they website notes they have been making foods since 1977 and has a broad line of products.
They hit on all the important points in the literature — low dust, low in phosphorous and good hydrostability to minimizes the release of nutrients. They note the foods are based on raw materials of “marine origin” including marine crustaceans, fish and mollusks along with algae and seaweed. They also are designed to improve fish and
coral immunity with prebiotics, vitamins, PUFAs, garlic, etc.
Tropical Marine Power Coral LPS Granules are sinking granules in the 1.2-1.4 mm size range, primarily made from five types of algae along with crustaceans and mollusks.
Tropical Marine Power Coral LPS Mini Granules are just like the regular formula, but are smaller sinking granules in the 0.8 to 1.0 mm size range.
