How did we get to September already? It is hard to believe the year is 3/4 of the way done! Here’s a few interesting stories we found on the web this past week. We also wish the best for our reefing friends and family on the East Coast to stay dry and safe!
360-degrees of Sharkness
National Geographic has amazing videos and we saw this incredible immersive 360-degree view of Tiger Sharks. Worth a look! Now if I only had some VR goggles handy…
New Fish From the Pacific Abyss
Scientists say they have discovered three new species of fish in one of the deepest places on Earth in the Atacama Trench — 7,500 meters below the surface in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Chile and Peru. The new species have been given temporary names “Moe, Larry and Curly”….just kidding! The temporary names are based on their coloring — the pink, the blue and the purple Atacama Snailfish.

Dead Sea Art
Somewhere in the Reef Builders’ archive, I am sure I wrote about this….but it is still amazing after all these years.
Love Nudis!
