You’ve seen their frags at the reef shows, you’ve seen pictures of their corals all over the internet and they are on everyone’s wish list – we’re talking of course of the internationally recognized strains & frags from Worldwide Corals. There’s tons of coral dealers and propagators that make and sell coral frags but no one pumps them out like Worldwide Corals.
Several years ago WWC realized that if they were to keep up with their customers demand, they’d need to invest in a serious coral farm. After a couple years of operation the WWC coral farm is firing on all cylinders cranking out hundreds of new frags every single day.
We had the good fortune to visit WWC’s hallowed coral frag factory and got the lowdown on how their tanks are flowed, how they are lit, and some other key aspects of WWC’s coral farming mission. While the farm is quite productive WWC is already planning a huge expansion to combine their retail and aquaculture operations under a single ginormous roof, and if the facility featured in this video is any indication, their new headquarters are going to be no less than a cultural center for reef aquariums.
